Digital transformation for institutions: where to start?
D

When an institution decides to digitize, the temptation is to start by buying software. In our experience, this is exactly backwards.
Digital transformation starts with understanding your current operations: how work actually moves through your departments, where the bottlenecks are, and where information gets lost. Only after that can you decide what to digitize and in what order.
Start small: pick one process that is repetitive, measurable, and visible. Digitize it well, measure the result, and build on that momentum. A system that solves a real problem is worth more than ten systems that look good in a demo.
